Nothing is dropping

I just did a tier 8 map and fought 2 essence rares. All rares on the map had 5-6 modifiers. Yet nothing dropped from any of them. I've been having issues like this where certain drop points just won't work. Rare chest, rare enemies, even unique bosses sometimes. I'm not asking for the moon just some gold on chests and an item on rares. and the essence from essence bosses.
