I Can't Join the POE2 Race?

Hi. I can't join the race due to start in 1 day. The "Join" button is grayed out. I thought you were supposed to be able to make characters in advance of starting, but that you simply weren't allowed to move them?

You will be able to join half an hour before the start.

I cannot join the race. Even the event already start. It's nothing happen when I select join. PS5
