Possible (different) Loot Filter Issue

(PS5 Pro — char. Lvl 80)
I scanned through the most recent posts and ran a search for “Filter” in any posts from the last week, but I didn’t see anyone with THIS issue.

I’ve been using NeverSink’s “-3strict-PoE2” filter for several weeks, probably since lvl 50-60.
Ever since the patch that allowed pressing L3 to see items hidden by loot filter, items that I previously saw drop unhidden by the filter are now showing up only on the L3 reveal.

Some examples:
• Runes: 1 or more Runes were filtered (non-elemental runes) while others (like the elemental) weren’t.
• Flasks: this was the most noticeable; I see no flasks drop anymore.
• Expert Gear: noticed some expert whites are being filtered (including Superior) while others aren’t.
• Scrolls of Wisdom: literally haven’t seen a single one since the patch, until I started hitting L3.


If the filter’s Last Updated time/date stamp was in January and this just started happening, then it’s not the filter, right?

Is there any auto-filtering that begins at certain level thresholds or upon reaching higher Map Tiers that starts filtering certain items by default?

That’s great to know. Hadn’t seen it mentioned anywhere that the filter rules are dynamic.
