First i am not sure if the last boss makes you loose xp, i lost 10% even with omens, i had 2 and went to 1, is there any log i can check ?

You dont lose XP as long you fail by getting to 0 honor. If its a real death you will lose 10% XP. If you are using Omen make sure its in your inv and right click to activate
