Disconnected mid map and lost all loot i had gained in the map

I was doing a Vaal Foundry map that had ritual on it and got an audience with the King out of the ritual that i had deferred a couple ritual maps ago. DC/ed while using a checkpoint to get to the map boss and when I logged back in i had 'failed' the map and lost all the loot i had gained in the map (including the audience with the King). any way i can get reimbursed for this?

Just realized this is the PoE1 forum, if it wasn't obvious this happened to me in PoE2.

It happened again in the next map I ran :(
this time i did not get very far in the map before i crashed so i didn't lose any valuable loot, though i did lose the few things i had picked up before DCing.
