Crashes whole day after update

Hello!
I've noticed today after the update (i am not sure if the particular update is the reason) my game was crashing in the middle of gameplay and without any error. BUT!... Last time (17:40 uk timezone) my game crashed with error.
It says:
"Exception: [D3D12] Failed to create resource for texture [Art/2DItems/offhand/Shields/Shield02.dds]

P.S: Bare in mind that I don't use shield on my monk, but probably the game client counts my secondary weapon set.

You can try switching your renderer to DirextX11 or Vulkan in Option > Graphics

If its still crashing you can delete the cache shader folders in:
C:\Users\NAME\AppData\Roaming\Path of Exile 2

They will be named like "ShaderCacheD3D12"

It also might improve performance doing a regular cleaning of shader caches.


Update your GPU drivers.

Can try turning on NVIDIA Reflex + Boost (Options > Graphics > Advanced Settings)

Thank you for letting me know. I will see what I can do from my end to prevent this but the devs still need to track the problem because the (:
My machine is with fresh OS all updates applied, including the graphics card drivers, i installed the game from the Stand Alone client because it was crashing a lot through steam and didn't had a problems until the latest update. Still appreciate your response! Thank you!

P.S: The game is runing good on Vulcan now. Thanks to you. I will keep this post updated if its still crashing even after the change of the renderer.
