PoE 2 - Controler inventory

I play with a controller. Initially, I pressed R3 to compare and check the gear tier. After the previous update, it took me a whole month to get used to pressing L3 to check the gear tier and R3 to compare with the equipped gear. Now, after 0.2.0 update, L3 is useless, and R3 only shows the gear tier but doesn’t allow comparison.

Weird that I don't see this mentioned in the patch notes anywhere, but it's working fine to compare items for me - maybe one of the hotfixes got it?

Anyway, it might not seem like it, but this a good thing. This is how comparing items works in PoE1. Hopefully this means they're listening and the rest of the buttons will be changed to their PoE1 counterparts soon. Maybe with an option to stick with the original PoE2 button mapping for new players who don't care about PoE1.

Just to be clear, though, 0.2.0 isn't out yet. The current version is 0.1.1e.

it s better like it is now, you can quick press or hold. but it doesn t open the surch like before.

Click R3 to compare items. Hold R3 for a second or two to toggle advanced info (both in the compare screen and just hovering over items in your inventory). I also like it better this way because it doesn't bring up the search box when you're in your stash.
