The changes coming up are the wrong one's

Seriously. Nobody is coming back to play 3 meh support gems and two really bad new unique items. They are really not good at all. Add a new class, rework existing unique items so that they aren't worthless, or buff underperforming builds. Those are the changes the game desperately needs. The end game would immediately be lightyears better if the items that dropped were actually relevant.

And for gods sake.... Get rid of all this crafting rng. I'm so tired and bored with this casino simulator. I feel like I have a better chance of winning the Fantasy Five than getting a well rolled craft. There are WAY TOO MANY garbage filler stats that nobody wants. Want an immediate answer to a lot of the rng in this game? this is a free one and you're welcome in advance.

Remove "Light Radius" and "Requirements". Nobody wants these. Ever.... Ever, ever. Those are complete garbage. Also lower the chance of rolling thorns. It has a function in a terrible build yes, however, it's such a limited use stat that it should not be as common as it is.

Just the crafting suggestions alone would go a long way to making this game more fun. And they can be done very quickly. Please, focus on some of the more obvious problems. New content is nice, but not when the existing game has unresolved problems and requires significant balancing.

The gear ramp is too short.
There isnt enough gear to have decent drop rates.
Also the market pretty much trashes the end game.
What are you chasing... exaults , chaos orbs... gold...

Run a bot it does highly repetitive actions to accumulate cash.
is GGG making video games just for bots now ?

I'm pretty certain these have just been sneak peaks, snippets, of a much larger and more encompassing patch. I recommend exercising patience for a full patch note release. That way we can actually see what they plan on releasing in full and then can praise or provide constructive criticism from there.

I have to agree with you. These changes they are currently making are so far and away either so insignificant, or just plain stupid, I feel like any future changes will be more of the same. This isn't even factoring in the poor performance of game currently. I know this sounds silly, but I feel like they enjoy implementing these mechanics, changes or items knowing they are the antithesis of any sort of enjoyment. I'm at a point now where I need to step back and wait until some progress is made.

Of course they have to add new class/s and weapons in the patch. There is no way they can release a patch after 3 - 4 months with no proper progression towards finishing the game.

PoE 1 and 2 are both P2W in China.

Tencent has bought GGG a few years back.
