streamers dont get banned for the same topics players do?

A streamer discussing an issue on their own stream does not breach our Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct applies to the in-game chat and forums, which is where you made the comment that you were muted in-game for.


in short im banned for talking about something a streamer is alowed to because streamer inflamitory = views and money

2 sets of rules, not cool

i mention same topic and called inflamitory and banned hmmm

time to stop watching the streamers, cant talk about their vids

Well....yes, two sets of rules.

One set for what's fine to say on Twitch, and handled by Twitch's moderation staff.
One set for what's fine to say on GGG's servers, which is handled by GGG's moderation staff.

I mean, how much are you asking for? Should streamers get mutes/bans for talking about trading outside of Trade chat?

They literally refuse to ban a self confessed cheater on the HC ladder because he is rich and famous, absolutely disgusting. I'll never give GGG my money ever again after that, they have zero integrity.

Also the moderator is right and also wrong at the same time. The Code of conduct really applies for in game and forums, the streamer probably made comments outside of this 2 places.

But he is also wrong because GGG took actions outside of the game/forums when they banned path of math for saying stuff about that dude, without any problems about his hair. So yeah, way to be disingenuous.

Imagine if adults could handle words like beginning of time until 25 years ago, we wouldn't need to censor anyone because people would simply not watch what they don't like instead of trying to remove it from existence.

What, exactly, are you expecting here? That GGG have employees monitoring PoE2 steamers in order to mute them in game for stuff they say on stream?

Imagine. What a wonderful world where the quality of your argument would decided if people believed what you were saying.

Thats where everything went south. When moderation teams gained the ability to silence at will. You don’t need to have broken a rule to be silenced, you just need to have done something that resembles breaking a rule.

People don’t judge an argument by the quality of the words used and points raised anymore. They judge it entirely based on if daddy says it’s okay to.

I agree 100%, even bots, cheaters, and hackers manipulating memory address via CHEAT ENGINE too boost stats was never ban.
