Warcry Corpse Explosions don't benefit from "Chance to not consume" stat

I made a small setup using the chance to not consume nodes and the sacrifice support, coupled with both the warbringer ascendency node that deals 25% of the corpse's life as damage as well as deidbell. The warcry kills all minions 100% of the time and never benefits from chance to not consume.

There's nothing in the wording to suggest that it wouldn't. Additionally, warcrys cannot be supported by the "corpse conservation" support gem. The support gem specifies that it supports a skill, not an attack or a spell. To my mind, that should work as well.
