Phercia event feels like a proper league launch for me! Anyone else?

The new ascendancies and idol system is pretty massive and makes the endgame feel fulfilling in a way.
The idol system is really cool once you start to really look into it.

Considering this was QUICKLY put together within a couple of weeks is very impressive.

Meanwhile LE is putting 1 league together in a year and Diablo just reskins the Helltides each season.

Yeah, I agree. To be honest, if all leagues were roughly this size, and GGG was able to consistently release a league every 3 months, I would be perfectly happy with that.

I like my new ascendancy class, and I'm enjoying the idol system.

Between the new ascendencies and the idol system, it does feel like a proper league. There's so much to figure out. Even without a new real "mechanic", the idol system itself feels like a new mechanic. I kind of wonder if they're surprised at how this is going. Should have released supporter packs for it, haha.
I like the new ascendencies, but I don't like the idol system. I get that it will be strong whenever u trade for the right stuff, but I just don't want to trade for them.

Also map progression feels weird until u have all the idols u really want. There's just way too many mechanics in the maps and it actually shines a light on the bloat of PoE.

That said, the event is good, but far from a new league. There's just nothing really new to figure out apart from having new build options. The game itself didn't change.
Ehhh not really.
So now that we have PoE2, GGG needs to revert the nerfs to 'slow down' PoE1.

Never forget the great Alt Qual Gem deletion, the Ex > Div swap and loss of various crafting methods. Bring back Fire Nova Mine!

Enjoy Path of Nerfs Dos!!
