Life Reservation Not Updating on Equipping New Armor

I have Beidat's Will, reserving 25% of my life. I noticed that if I equip a new piece of armor without Life (or even just unequip something with Life), my total Life goes down as it should, but my Unreserved Life total stays the same. Ex., Chest A has +164 Life; my Life with Chest A is 1,431/1,908. Unequipping Chest A leaves me with 1,431/1,721 Life. I can even equip something with 0 Life on it but much more ES, effectively giving me a Life boost for free.

The Unreserved Life total updates upon entering a new zone. It's abusable though if I just bring some Life heavy gear with me into a Map, then swap it all out for ES heavy gear.
