Loadout bug

I play on PC

On my inventory screen my items will show a I roman numeral above where theyre equipped, but I think it is treating those items as loadout II. Why?

I cant use spirit points to summon in skeletons or archers (skeletons are using a sceptre and archers are using spirit points)

Something is messed up and its driving me insane.

Also when things are equipped to load out I it shows me barehanded.
