Game keeps crashing, giving me 3 different error codes
Granted, it is early access and bugs are to be expected, but getting really tired of constant crashes. I am being hit with 3 different error codes, mostly the one with AdapterInfo:
"Exception - GetAdapterInfo:" "Exception - Queue Signal failed" "Exception - (D3D12) Failed to create resource for texture (Art/2DItems/Amulets/Basetypes/StellarAmulet.dds" All my drivers are up to date. I have also tried setting the game to compability mode Windows 8 and I've tried changing my resolution. Nothing works. I have to reboot my computer after every crash which I do not like (don't want my computer to get messed up). Anyone have any suggestions? Or are these bugs needing to be ironed out? 1. Navigate to %APPDATA%/Path of Exile 2/ (Copy and paste) You should see one or more folders starting with "ShaderCache" followed by either Vulkan or DirectX3D. Delete the folders. Try to play, if it continues go to Option #2
2. Could try going to directx 11 (Documents. My games. Poe2. There’s a production config.ini file. Open it and adjust the 12 in renderer_type=directx12 to renderer_type=directx11) you could try vulkan aswell. Try to play. Could also try window mode full screen. let me know if these work for you, if not tell me what kind of graphics card you are running Website is down. Thanks for the tips, I'll try them out. I forgot to mention that I changed rendering from DirectX to Vulcan. This seems to make the game crash a little bit less, but it still crashes too often.

I tried all your suggestions (except windowed fullscreen). It crashes less, but still crashes, and even gave me a new error:
"Exception - vk::Queue::submit: ErrorDeviceLost" I have NVIDIA GeForce RTX 308 Laptop GPU and Intel(R) Xe Graphics |

" This is usually a problem with the graphics driver. And which of the 2 GPUs do you have selected in the POE2 options? | |
Both upscape mode and display is set to Nvidia. Want me to try send you the dxdiag-file?

Exception - vk::Queue::submit: ErrorDeviceLost is exclusive to the vulkan renderer i believe. Did DirectX11 not work for you?
Website is down.

" Changing it to DirectX11 makes it crash less, but it still crashes. I've read others having some issues with this as well, so perhaps bugs needing to be fixed? |
