So around 12 hours after Phrecia launched, my main account was locked while I was in the middle of levelling my character. Just locked, not banned or suspended, no other extra information about an admin specifically locking it. I contacted support almost immediately, as the game and website instructed me to. 20 hours later, I get a response asking for the usual accountname#xxxx and 2-3 character names. Not ideal, but it gave me hope that I wouldn't have to wait a week or god forbid a month+ to have my issue resolved. I sent those around 4 hours after the response had arrived, as I was sleeping when it did and have been waiting since.
I wont minimize the workload the support team is under or claim that my ticket is more important than everyone else's, but I do like to think that once a ticket is taken into processing, having it resolved shouldn't take several more days, let alone the weeks/months a lot of people after have had to wait and are still waiting. I'm not trying to be hostile or tell them to rush things, but there has to be something on the meat and bones side that can be done to make the process more efficient. I currently have the same issue, it seems like there is another influx of account locks since Phrecia started, I've seen at least 3 (including me and you) mentioning an unprovoked lock on this forum alone and one or two on reddit as of the launch, I originally thought it was due to a mute (dumb global message) I got a few minutes earlier to the lock but I don't think so anymore.

I said something pretty damn stupid and DID get a 24h mute for it, which I thought was fair enough, but then I got hit with a lock, which, according to what I've read here and on Reddit, isn't supposed to be a punishment and if it would've been the prelude to a ban, would've likely happened already. But I check both my forum and games every day and it's still the same. Hope these issues me, you and the others you mentioned get resolved sooner rather than later, I was having a blast with Phrecia beforehand. |
