PoE2 Client Early access and Character suddenly gone.

I seem to have a similar problem to others here.

I played and leveled up my character on the GGG Client and today, after a Pause of two weeks, I am told that I don't have Early Access (anymore) and that I should bribe a friend for it?

I can also no longer see my PoE2 Character in my account.

How can this have happened and is there a solution?
