When will the Advanced/Expert item types be given unique names/art?

I find it kinda lame that the item types are just reused with "advanced" and "expert" being the higher tiers. I was told this was a placeholder which made sense but it's been awhile now. I know there is a lot to do but the items are the life blood of the game and I find it kinda dull with the placeholders being the highest tier stuff.
