I have a question for everyone.

This is more of a discussion topic.

Let's talk about the item Trampletoe Trimmed Greaves.

Currently, Trampletoe is gaining popularity in two countries. However, some players have raised concerns about this item.

Complaints:

1) Balance Issue

Some players argue that by using Trampletoe and a low-tier Sacred Flame Shrine Sceptre, along with a 2-3 Div setup, you can outperform characters that have invested 300 Div in gear.

This raises serious concerns about balance.


2) Economy & Item Sales Issue

Because of the above issue, anyone can achieve high-end performance with just a small Div investment.

As a result, expensive items are no longer selling since there's no incentive to buy them.


What do you think?

Personally, I believe that issue #2 (item sales decline) is more related to the rapid drop in player count rather than just Trampletoe itself.

As someone with a "low-tier" melee build, trampletoes seems very overpowered for clearing packs of mobs.

Im using herald of ice with it (no porci-whats it called ring) and during breaches it takes 1 tap with my chronomancers staff to make enemies 2 screens over explode. I've actually used the waypoint system to travel to far sides of breaches because it can kill so many mobs instantly that the breaches grow endlessly. Had one breach bigger than the entire augury map.

I've never looked into the sacred flame combo but i expect something to be changed about them anyway.

I dont trade so can't comment on #2 really.

that being said, i think its okay to have some universally powerful uniques. Eg, poe1's Ralakesh boots.
