If this game was meant to be "fun"

then why do we spend half the time pissed off while playing it?

If you are pissed off playing a game, you are doing it wrong.

When I pissed while playing PoE2, I push "K" button and remove supporter pets (baby crowbell and kiwi) because they are a lil quirky and pissing when I'm pissed.

Or push "P" to open skill tree or use skill gem to open skill list, because when I am completely pissed, it looks completely different. Then try different depending how I was pissed.

I learned how to take things as they come by those quirks.

Or check Divine/Exalts rate to lol. (I don’t trade, or I’d be even more pissed.)
