Downgrade: Global +Level Modifiers Not Applying for Joystick/Controller Players (PC & Consoles)
As joystick/controller players (both on PC and consoles), we’ve encountered a significant issue where spells triggered by “Cast on XXX” do not receive global +X to all spell skill levels modifiers. This puts controller users at a severe disadvantage compared to mouse-and-keyboard players.
Issue: When a spell is triggered via “Cast on XXX,” it fails to inherit global +level modifiers from gear. Example: Lightning Conduit linked to Cast on Shock does not benefit from a wand with +5 to all spell skill levels or an amulet with +3 to all spell skill levels, effectively missing out on +8 levels. Impact: This significantly weakens affected builds, making them unviable. Controller players experience an unintended downgrade, limiting build diversity and overall gameplay experience. Request: Please investigate and address this issue as soon as possible, as it directly impacts build functionality and game balance for joystick users. Would appreciate any updates on this matter. It happenned to me when i tried to play with controller on my PC too!
This bug is game-breaking for controller users. Losing +X to all spell skill levels makes certain builds unplayable. If this isn’t fixed, controller players will always be behind, which isn’t fair. Really hoping the devs address this issue quickly! |
