(UPDATED TY GGGG) 3 months still locked with no response
My account has been locked since darn near launch. I am trying to remain patient but wearing thin. I have no clue where to even try and go from here. At this point it would be nice if support could point me in the direction to refund my EA on my account and refund EA on this account I created just to use the forums....

It's been over 2 months without a response but, I keep getting emails for items in the store twice a week! I received a reply from GGG this morning. Turns out it was my fault for getting my account locked and after realizing the reason I am surprised they ever responded. Apologies for the snarky attitude and thank you for trying to understand the awkward situation!

" Well, this gives me some hope. I emailed support about a month ago about a hacked account. Recently I tried to get back to PoE after years of not playing, only to find out that I can't log in. Turns out my account has been hacked (almost cerainly at the same time when my Steam account got hacked for a day within last year); I know this since I can still find the account on the website with a character that I have not created. I can also see that the account has been banned, so I guess the hacker did some shady things, or it was automated. I totally understand if I have to wait - I know how busy GGG support is right now and I have no issue with that. I just hope that eventually some real person will actually look into this, realize the signs of the account having been hacked and that I will be able to retrieve it and enjoy the game again without having to start from the scratch.
