Client Not Responding when quickly mousing between 2 items

So 3 times today I have had the client lock up and go Not Responding to the point that windows had to kill the process. All 3 times this has happened when I was quickly mousing between 2 different items. I'm guessing it may be related to the tooltip quickly changing, as it always happened right as the tooltip changed from 1 item to the next item.
