Update release schedule -- Monthly EA update needed / Prioritize endgame

I think a monthly update structure would be much better for this game. It's frankly absolute hogwash we have to wait 3 months for a new 'league'.

Update the game monthly, having us wait full leagues for an EA update is nonsense, absolute nonsense. And frankly, what GGG cares about is the campaign, and what WE care about is the END GAME. To 99% of us, the campaign not only means nothing, but we have actively wanted to skip it for years by now.

GGG I assure you, we will only hate the POE 2 campaign harder than we ever hated the POE 1 campaign -- as POE 1 takes about 4 hours total to get to maps.

I already expected new characters, new NPC's, new classes, THE CRAFTING BENCH, new ascendancies, all by month 1 -- this is getting absurd.

They cannot treat an EA game like their full release. This is not a good or fair release structure. They said the game was 6 months from completion 3 months ago. I know that was a non truth, but we all know they aren't 1/2 done..

Alternatively -- If you expect us to play this "EA" like a full release, then stop developing the campaign and prioritize the endgame. I assure you GGG staff, we won't care about the campaign, we don't even like that POE 1 HAS a campaign anymore, we won't feel anything but more annoyed about POE 2's giant slog campaign.

I disagree. They should prioritize missing classes, skills and items first. Most of the fun comes from build diversity - the endgame needs help, but it is serviceable for what it is, placeholder content.

Actually I said that too, so we agree :D

However we disagree on one major thing.

Most of the fun comes from build diversity

Most of my fun comes from new things to do. I am uniquely interested in POE leagues as long as there is FRESH content that I enjoy. It's the only reason I've played POE 1 for like 6 years. Fresh brand new content, every 3 months, like clockwork. Until recently...

That and that alone is what holds me. I've played too many years to really care about build diversity tbh, i press right click, entire screens go boom -- this is my experience in POE 1 and 2, and likely always will be. So who and what does that doesn't really matter even a little to me.

Aside from that, I feel they need to REALLY focus on endgame for 0.2 dramatically. Because i'm a power gamer and I ran out of shit to do by week 2.

The endgame is non existent compared to POE 1, and after 2 months in "EA" that's 1 month past it's welcome state. It's state was welcome for month 1. It will not do for month 3, and will be far beyond unacceptable for 0.2 -- Shit better be significantly deeper and better.

I'm currently not playing PoE2 EA due to the current endgame not being my cup of tea, and crashes, and more importantly, lack of class/skills/build diversity so far.

I guess that it's all important. Gamers like OP will keep on playing only if there's something to do, that's obvious, and others might like something else, but for players to stay for longer than a few dozens hours, GGG needs to deliver when it comes to the endgame.

I'm not in the "all about the endgame ASAP" group, but I certainly don't like repeating the campaign over and over again. I like starting a new season/league with a new character and a fresh stash, but I don't like having to redo the campaign, watch every cinematic/listen to every conversation every single time. I'm sure that a lot of players value the journey (from level 1 to endgame), and I do, but don't really want to have to complete the campaign again.

As such, as much as I want to play through the campaign at least once, I think that their efforts would be best put towards releasing every class/skill/items/ascendancy as soon as they can and work on the current endgame or another endgame mechanics that isn't related to the Atlas per se (e.g. delves) so that you can mix it up or something. Probably not going to see it before we're a few leagues in after release though...

1. They were forced to delay 0.2 due to PoE1 playerbase pressure.
2. I agree with the endgame, but campaign was surely fun and memorable!
3. 99%? Where's the data? Merely hearsay. Some people do actually enjoy the campaign, but I do enjoy endgame more. This is your opinion, don't speak for other people.
4. In re: 'we assure you'. Again, this is your opinion.
5. In re: expectations. Maybe get a life? Touch grass, get a job, play a different game. I'd rather wait for quality updates rather than rushed broken updates.
6. In re: 'They cannot treat an EA game'. Where is this entitlement coming from? they never said 6 months, they estimated it would take approximately 6-12 months, get your facts straight.

7. Lastly, they did not expect us to play this EA like a full release, this is still your opinion, hence why this is called EA, EA stands for EARLY ACCESS.

Closing: In my opinion, it seems most of the entitled players come from PoE 1, I believe you people were really spoiled back in PoE 1 peak years and expect it to be the same in PoE 2. I have played countless games where developers don't even give a damn about the playerbase, you people are lucky game devs like GGG still exist.

That said, I would like to voice out my suggestions also since we are already here.

1. Please keep EA Standard League alive forever please, thank you.

They're supposed to be developing both, that's not my problem, that them failing to tell the truth -- as usual.

Having played both pretty extensively, I can tell you our happiest leagues are when GGG bends the knee and gives us what we want.

I've played for years, the game is very very rarely in a state i'm happy with.

I'm a homebound disabled person. This is my life. All of it. It's all I have left, and I want some fucking shit to do already.

What build diversity? Right now everyone just stat stacks or users spark, every build uses energy shield, and 90% of the abilities are borderline useless because blowing up the entire screen instantly is the only viable way to play
