Sekhemas and Temple of Chaos are dog do do

you spend an hour getting through all the hoops and the last boss kills you extremely easy. Done this more times than I can count. Horrible design. Fix it

GGG isnt exactly known for "balance". Hell, POE 1 still has serious issues to this day (that will not ever be addressed, as they feel its fine) that have been around since C.B., and only gotten worse over time. It is what it is.

I think the main problem with trial of chaos aka Ultimatum is that some players have, for years, wispered in GGGs ears how badly they want Ultimatum back. it is literally dog pop game design as are most circle leagues and it is just the the loot pinatas that those players wanted back. Trial of Chaos is just so bad in almost every aspect, it is not even subjective...And ultimatum in poe 1 as of late was done by incredible tanky builds, some of them afk autobomber builds which do not represent the majority of the player base at all, just a funsy niche thingy.

The idea of getting your ascendancy from trial of chaos should be a placeholder for something more thoughtfully designed and i sure hope they come to their senses. THat said you should be able to get your 2nd ascendancy from it after a few tries, not that it's fun, but upgrading your chars a few levels and taking care of damage and res should do it.
