POE Client unable to connect to patching server (resolved)

With POE client i am unable to connect to patching server ever since latest server maintenance last night. Last night I was able to launch and log into POE1 from local client. Yes I have internet. I am not able to launch POE2 from direct client as well. I am able to launch POE2 from Steam. I only have POE1 on local client.

Error: Couldn't resolve host name while downloading https://patch.poecdn.com/3.25.3.5/PathOfExile.exe


Then if i put the above in a browser window and execute that downloaded exe i get the message "unable to connect to patch server".

I went to control panel and did a repair. I am able to see 3.25.3d patchnotes on the loading screen but now i get:

Error: Couldn't resolve host name while downloading https://patch.poecdn.com/3.25.3.5/Bundles2/Folders/data/portuguese.bundle.bin

I am also receiving this error as of today. I am able to eventually connect after several attempts. I also have to try connecting to a server several times on the login screen for it to eventually work.

I have also noticed my game lagging out whenever I try to logout to character select and back in.

It looks like whatever was going on with the game servers potentially has been resolved. I am now able to Login in to POE1 and POE2 with the local game client.

I was getting this, and now i cannot patch at all, patching server down.
