How to pickup loot during combat?

How do you pickup loot or interact with objects during combat on a console (PS5)?
I can't interact with anything until every single monster in the immediate area is dead. Is it meant to be like that because it feels so bad. Last bumped on Feb 19, 2025, 10:13:53 PM

It still needs to be fixed. Until then remove the skill on that button. This will fix the issue for now.

Interact alone doesn't work either (on xbox). Still need to kill everything around so the priority targeting can focus on the item.
