3 Month of Waiting

i write this post because my friend cant even login here:
My friend noticed that someone had logged into his account, so he contacted support. Support then banned the account for security reasons. That was over three months ago. He is still waiting for the next email from support regarding the next verification step but is afraid to contact them again because he will drop down in "priority"

The event is starting soon, and it can't be that unbanning him is impossible.

Isn't there a faster solution?

They will respond "as soon as humanly possible".
I can't play as well, waiting for the email address change.
