Can I gift items to my friends?

So i told many of my friends how good the second POE is and now I'm thinking is it banneble if I'm gifting to my friends?(Because I that in POE it's illegal to sell items for real money) And if I gift to my friends what should I do? Like take a screenshot on steam that we are friends for few years and send it for the support or what is the right way?

You are allowed to give in-game items to your friends as long as you aren't doing so in exchange for external gain or otherwise breaching our Terms of Use.
If you'd like to gift microtransactions or Supporter Packs, this would be something to arrange with our Support team as these kinds of requests are checked into on a case by case basis.
