I feel like he should get some proper send off if he really is completely gone from GGG.

Probably fully invested in PoE2.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.
Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! MFers found strength in their Afflictions. They became reliant on them. I am not so foolish. |

Chris was POE 1 until about 3.15 it seems. THey just officially announced like a few weeks ago "hey guys, we actually give up on POE 1, hope you like POE 2", so this doesn't surprise me.
Chris left that means POE 1 is dead for sure. |
