experiencing extreme lag

Hi,
I am playing on an xbox xjs. The campaign seemed to run smooth for the most part. However, once I started doing maps I have gotten sever lag. Especially when I am in high activity/ high monster counts. It is so bad that it will freeze for up to 3 seconds and then it catches up and a lot of the time I am dead shortly thereafter. I have highspeed internet and am hardwired. I haven't had any problems with any of my other games. It is extremely frustrating as I lose my waystones and any progress in the map. I love this game but it's starting to become unplayable. I've spoken to friends that play on PC and they seem to not have as bad of an issue. Is there anything I can to to improve my situation?

Same here on PS5. This most recent patch they did killing the game. I don’t think there is anything really to do but sit and wait.

Is it just the server? Can it not handle the traffic? It is soooo bad. I constantly get half to three quarters the way through a map and it pauses and then I'm dead. It is insanely frustrating! Please make this a priority!
