Aqueous Essence (Energy Shield) AND Aqueous Essence (Life Mana) Cannot combine

I bought items and combined them into Aqueous Essence life and Aqueous Essence mana before, but when I want to combine Aqueous Essence (energy shield) and Aqueous Essence (life, mana) to become Aqueous Essence (energy shield, life, mana), the combine button doesn't work.


I hear the COMBINE sound effect and the COMBINE button turns grey, but nothing changes, no COMBINE animation. I tried reinstalling the game but nothing changed. Have I encountered any BUG?

I emailed support@grindinggear.com. They said don’t have this information available. And suggested I come here for help. I don't want to waste points buying items that have no use (it's weird to have only 2 or 1 orb around you). Can anyone tell me how to do this? Thank you very much.
