How to unlink an account from trade site

I'm on xbox i made a separate account and then linked my Microsoft account i can use the site and see live items but when I try to direct whisper it always say invalid is it because I made a separate account and linked them and if so how do I unlink to sign up with xbox or I'm i missing something plz help sick of bugging my find to get my stuff
