I need a better item pricing app.
I'm using uhhh........
![]() dat one. And... it's kinda crappy. It just tells me everything is worth 1.8 Divines, lmfao. (Hyperbole, but basically true. Most things come back as 1+ Div, and then they sit and rot in my stash tabs for months when priced at 40 Chaos.) Any suggestions? Even if it's... how to set this one up to actually work, lol. Most players are using Awakened PoE Trade (the one you're using) as it certainly does work but you need some understanding on how to price stuff / some knowledge. No app will do that for you.
Instead of switching tools try to learn this one properly and figure out as to why your supposed 1+Div items aren't selling at 40c. What makes those items supposedly be worth 1+Div? There's no getting around that. Last edited by Scarletsword#4354 on Feb 16, 2025, 5:17:25 AM

I don't understand why I need to know how to price things in order to use a thing that's supposed to price things for me, lol.
I have a basic understanding of items, but I don't know what that has to do with this app searching (or not searching) like-affixed items and determining price ranges. Guess I'll just fidget with it. Not the most intuitive UI... |

Again, it's not supposed to take care of everything for you. That is not possible with how the market and items work.

Awakened POE is the best real-time pricing tool available, you just need to learn how to use it.
1. The price estimate displayed at the top of the price check window is not valid for gear or items with any kind of variable. This number is just based on a moving average of sale prices and is not capable of calculating your items rolls accurately. Is is still useful for things like currency, div cards, fragments, etc. 2. For gear you need to select the relevant affixes and adjust their roll ranges. -This requires you know what affix combinations create the most value to various builds, to include empty prefix/suffix availability. -Not all affixes present on item are always adjustable in the price check window, you may need to open in browser. 3. Even after comparing your item to what is on the market, you have to take into account how long those other items have been on the market. Just because 20 other people decide to list similar items for 80d, that doesnt make the item worth 80d if no one is buying. 4. Don't forget we are 6 months into Settlers league, and have a tiny player base. Just because all indications are that your item is worth a certain price, doesnt mean there is someone playing who wants that item. “Freedom is what we do with what is done to us.”

" Thanks for the post! So, what I kind of gather from it is: It is definitely a quick and easy thing for checking, as you say, static items like currencies. As for anything else, I'm probably better off just minimizing and plugging in the stats into the official trade page, and gauging from there. (This seems like it's probably faster than using the app's UI? Unless, as you say, I need to learn how to use it even further, and there's actually a quick way to plug in an item's affixes into a search.) |

" you can still use the UI. There are 2 price check UI options, one that launches a window that closes with any keystroke/click, and one that stays open. If you use the one that stays open, you can adjust the attributes in the UI. Sometimes not all the affixes will fit, or you may just prefer to work in the browser, and there is a button in the UI that will open the trade site in browser, and automatically import into the search the affixes of the item you price checked. I dont know the default bindings, it was one of the first thing I changed. I use the persistent UI option by default for everything, as I like to be able to make adjustments, etc “Freedom is what we do with what is done to us.” Last edited by Piousqd#0073 on Feb 18, 2025, 2:48:06 PM
