Item equipping question

I can't seem to be able to equip a two handed mace that I acquired. I can dual wield 2 hander weapons so that's not an issue. None of the stats on the weapon are red so I meet the minimums there and I'm higher than the level required.

What am I missing that it would still remain red in my inventory and not allow me to equip?
