Vastweld, Colossal Guardian - no hitbox?

Just died because seems he doesnt have any hitbox. Did not mattered if I charged him, used aoe, Hammer of God or anything... I just waved to the air.
Neither of his hands or body had hit connection.

I managed to take away a tiny hp because I play thorn and the las0rb3amz damaged him with my unique helmet.
