Idols should be able to be corrupted

Since it’s a event league it would be fun if idols could be corrupted for :
+ - effect + - mods Upgrade it to unique. Also this means that casual players can afford decent idols with 4 mods they want and the best ones are the corrupted ones. Or am I missing any obvious negatives to corrupting them? Last bumped on Feb 15, 2025, 5:28:42 AM

" Well... that's not at all how vaal orbs work, so they'd have to customize special rules for using vaals on these idols. So the obvious negative is "more dev time in a league they're rushing out as quickly as possible," but there's also the subjective downside of inconsistency within the game. |
