Passive skill tree/Ascendancy reset/glitch

Played with a with a friend and got up to endgame, game crashed when i tried joining his Tier 6 waystone and when i relaunched the game it would not connect me so i fully closed steam and waited a bit and when i got back on i didn't have any points allocated in my passive skill/ascendency tree. the points are all still there but i cant use the ascendency points. My main concern my galv build is ruined with it swapping my ascendency path. I don't know if I'm able to switch it back in game but even if i cant just being able to use my ascendency points would be a huge help.
