Pain Offering targetting only skeletal storm mages

As title, no matter where i place my cursor, pain offering (with danse macabre) only targets the skeletal storm mages. I have tried only 1 or two skel storm mages but it doesnt matter, it only targets storm mages.

Also, my PC chugs whenever I have a lot of minions. Please address.
