Can't enter boss arena after backing out

Steps that I found the issue:
1. Playing in Grimhaven map
2. Almost entered the boss arena while the boss (the Consort) was spawning
3. Backed away from the arena instead to finish clearing the rest of the map
4. When I tried to get in to fight the boss, a red barrier prevented me from going in without the "arena" warp button.
