Overwhelmed with stash tabs

My partner has over 100 stash tabs of all sorts.

Is there a tool, that allows them to consolidate/sort/uniquify their entire collection?

Not just a single tab?

These tabs have been collected since Closed beta POE 1 so there is LOTS of stuff there, spread over, I have lost count, many characters (bought quite a few character slots)

New characters are started willy nilly and existing character tabs are left unsorted/read-only.

The account has many over level 90 chars so the amount of stash tabs takes quite a bit to simply scroll through the tabs, let alone the items.

POE has done well with the shop for this account.

Suggestions?

Organise them into folders? There's also the option in Standard to hide all remove only tabs

I am hoping I can do something like say select of a particular item that exist in the entire stash list and put all the same items in the same tab to allow easy examination and disposal of repetitions (keep the ones with the best stats).

Folders rule.

Folders is the only way to go.
