Help Identifying a unknown debuff(Trials of Chaos)

Hello, I am looking for a little help identifying what killed me in trials of chaos. I was playing 41 Sorc (HC RIP) and I was doing the escort trial. I started to take persistent damage from a debuff that did not drop off. At first it was manageable but soon it stacked to 2 and I quickly ran out of Mana and HP pots (not even MoM could save me). The modifiers i had to my knowledge were
Buffs don't last as long Shock Towers Blood Globs(I think) Anyway I am just looking for some clarity as to what the debuff was so I can avoid it in the future. Thank you for the help in advance Last bumped on Feb 14, 2025, 10:01:40 AM

Sounds more like "corrupted blood" from pyramid beams, but those beams are rather obvious and 2-stack isn't that lethal.
Blood Globule level 2 leaves a blood puddle on the floor that also does damage over time. |

That's what is crazy man when I saw that i was dying i walked away from the mobs and the escort and I was still dying plus the debuff had no timer on it. My only thought is there is a mob that i don't know about that has some sort of nearly map wide aura that makes you lose HP.

Were you carrying the soul core, a stone to put on altar on the trial?
Had a case where i picked it up from the ground, use it on the altar, but it still was in the backpack of my character, no way to drop it on the ground or use it again on the altar, as the challenge was finished. The soul core, in your backpack afflicts damage on you over time, and it can kill you. In my case, when the glitch happanned, the soul core killed my character and the trail failed. Could be your case, being damage from the soul core? The soul core apply a debuff on you, and is will stack and grow to damage you, and wont stop damaging util you drop it, check the image, top left, uder the two buffs. "Nope :/ I notice the debuff started half way through the escort trial and then got a second stack maybe 15 seconds after. Thank you for response though! |

It was a red debuff with no timer and it stacked to 2 and for the life of me I cannot find it online
