Cannot Link My Steam Account

I have purchased an Early Access version of PoE2, and redeemed on Steam. When I go to main menu after cutscene, it says I do not have access. When I attempt to link my Steam account with my PoE account, it says request failed.

We're currently aware of an issue that's preventing users from being able to log in with Steam. I apologise for the inconvenience, however, please rest assured that the team are working on getting this resolved as soon as they are able to.

I got this issue also. I bought POE 2 on the Steam today and I cannot connect my account to POE account.
