Legacy of the Vaal quest bugged.

My current quest status says to rescue Alva from Doryani. However, after logging in this morning and traveling back to Utzaal, Alva has reappeared next to me and I now have to fight the worst boss in the game - Viper Napuatzi. Hopefully there's an immediate fix from community experts or gets patched soon, this may make me drop the game.
