I was trying to respec chaos inoculation? But my life stays at 1 after changing it

if you try to use skill points while removing skill points tree will sometimes brick and the nodes won't save.
If you relog you'll see that some nodes are still the same. To avoid this issue, don't use passives while removing them. |

The passive tree is glitchy at the moment. When you respec it will sometimes not do the respec properly. So likely CI is still activated. You can respec properly by only doing around 5 nodes at a time. Click accept. Then do another 5 nodes etc.
