PS5 Loot Filter

No matter what I try, the loot filter is not working on my PS5. Now, I'm in some FB groups and their filters are working so looks like it might be specific for some people. I went so far as to buying another copy, on PC (I don't mind paying twice as I can play with my son, as opposed to couch co-op), to see if I was doing something incorrectly. But no. Everything I'm doing on console is the same as PC. Getting close to endgame now so would appreciate some feedback. I have tried everything, just to reinforce that - uninstall/reinstall, played PoE1 for a few minutes (filters work find on there), PS5 is linked correctly.
