Cant pick up items(PS5)

Hi, I've recently been having issues with certain items dropping but I can’t pick them up. For example I’ll kill a monster, an exalted orb drops(Item filter tells me) but then the name plate above the orb disappears and I then can’t pick up the orb. I can see it on the map and on screen but can’t interact with it. This has happened with gear and emeralds too. I’ve tried changing the loot filter but nothing works. I have to spam pick up everything important because I don’t know how long it’ll stay on screen. Any suggestion.
