Why raise you shield ?

Hi,
True Question: Why raise your shield when you can dodge/roll the attack ? I have a hard time reflex raising the shield and usually just roll away. Is there any mechanical advantage in using actively the shield ? Last bumped on Feb 8, 2025, 6:39:20 PM

No reason unless you are slowed/chilled or because there's burning ground everywhere that you don't want to roll into . That's about it and that does not justify using active block ever , just get rid of it .
