In the Dev Diary: Creating Low Poly Models from High Poly Assets post from May 10, 2011, the dev diary images hosted on grindinggear.com have experienced link rot and are no longer accessible live on the Internet. Additionally, BBCode frame tags are visible in the post on the forum.

For example,
https://grindinggear.com/dev-diary-saveun/zombieboss_thumbnail.jpg
returns a HTTP 200 OK text/html response, instead of the image in question.

The current workaround is to find an archived version from the Wayback Machine, such as this May 16, 2015 snapshot of the dev diary.
