How Will Be League System Work?

After the full version is released, for example, season “X” came and I created an account in season “X”. Will this character automatically switch to the “Softcore” league when he dies 1 time or will he switch to the “Softcore” league when season “X” ends?

If PoE 2 follows the same formula as PoE 1, then dead HC characters will get sent to the Parent league, which is Standard, not the softcore current league.

X league HCSSF > dies, goes to SSF Standard
X league HC > dies, goes to Standard
