stuck on validating on new patch

seems i am stuck on validating on this new patch and no matter what i do it won't budge past this

Same for me, thru the Steam client.

same for me. its updating and when its finishing it says to make sure the game doesnt run on the background if try to restart my pc yet it doesnt work

Same issue here right now. Just stuck validating. Restarted PC and tried a couple other things but nothings working.
